Anxiety is often demoted to the second-rate mental health issue. People suffering from different levels of anxiety are often left to deal with it by themselves. There are things that I discovered I can do in order to manage my anxiety more efficiently. Regular and high-quality sleep pattern helps me feel more content during the day. Sticking to the schedule is equally important. Working out also helps me feel better even on days when my energy level may be low.
Key Takeaways:
- Sleeping is underrated as many of us are tempted to stay up because of our anxiety or motivation to do fun things. Sticking to a solid sleep schedule helps keep us calm.
- Working out just a little in the morning is huge for stress reduction. It gets our body and brain ready for the day providing many feel good chemicals.
- Planning meals ahead of time can make the week go smoother. You don’t want to spend too much time thinking about what you’re going to eat losing out on time you could be relaxing.

It also makes me feel in control: I can control what time I get up and being able to decide that makes me feel calmer.”
