This oval picture frame is made of high density pressed wood and has a lustrous painted gold leaf finish.  Everything you need to display your oval picture is included.  You are able to customize your frame by choosing the shape of glass or acrylic cover you like.  Select a flat pane, a dome-shaped cover or a convex shaped cover for an old fashioned look.  You can also select the type of glass or acrylic you prefer by choosing clear glass, clear acrylic, or an anti-reflective (AR) glass or AR acrylic for a more diffused look.  To help protect your photo from fading in sunlight UV glass or UV acrylic is also available.  

The width of this narrow oval frame is 1” and has a 3/8” rabbet, which is the recess on the back inner edge of the frame where the photo or artwork fits.
