Cosmo Archival Black Metal Picture Frame

This Cosmo Archival Black Picture Frame is designed for protecting your most important pictures because it is an Artcare museum quality archival frame. Artcare's patented framing system protects photos with its Archival Mountboard and Matboard from discoloration caused by common pollutants that enter the back of the frame and along the glass edge.  Artcare archival matboards have been tested to slow art and photo paper degradation, neutralize acid by-products, protect against damaging pollutants, are acid-free and lignin free, fade and bleed resistant and buffered to maintain alkaline pH.  This Artcare Cosmo Archival Black Metal Frame also comes with UV glass so your photos are protected from fading and damage caused by sun and UV light. 

This slim styled frame is made of metal.  The frame molding width is 1/2" and has a depth of 1 3/32" with a 17/32” rabbet.

It comes with archival UV glass, an Artcare archival 4-ply mat and Artcare archival 2-ply mount board, easel back stand and vertical and horizontal hanging hardware. Plus, when the 8x10 frame is hung on the wall it sits flat against the wall because the easel back stand fits inside the back of the frame.

It is available in an 8x10 frame size with a 5x7 matted photo opening. If you’d like to use the frame to display an 8x10 picture the mat can be easily removed from the frame.
