This beautiful oval picture frame is made of high density pressed wood and has a painted matte black finish.  It comes with everything you need to display your oval photo.  For a customized frame you are able to choose the shape of glass or acrylic cover you would like.  Choose a flat pane, a dome-shaped cover or a convex shaped cover for old fashioned appeal.  You are also able to select the type of glass or acrylic you want from a normal clear glass, clear acrylic or, for a more diffused look, an anti-reflective (AR) glass or AR acrylic.  To help protect your photo from fading in sunlight you can also choose UV glass or UV acrylic.  

The width of this matte black oval frame is 1 7/8” and has a 3/8” rabbet, which is the recess on the back inner edge of the frame where the photo or artwork fits.
